Helvetica is probably the most famous of the sans-serif fonts. In contrast to Serif fonts, sans-serif fonts are sometimes called ‘gothic’.

These fonts typically appear more minimalist and modern, and they’re based on late 19th and early 20th century signage and advertising typefaces.
Sans-serif fonts are, unsurprisingly, fonts which don’t use serifs. Types of serif include: old-style, transitional, modern and slab. Garamond and Times New Roman are two classic serif fonts. 
Serif typefaces are sometimes called ‘roman’ because of this. Serifs have their origin in Roman stone carving, and are believed to be linked to the way that words were painted onto stone before they were carved.

Once it has scanned all the fonts you will be given an option to import these fonts, as well as any warnings for fonts that are not as complete or missing files. Open Font Book and click the Add button or press Command +O to open the Add Fonts menu. Drag the zip folder (not the zip drive) over to Font Book. Open your download destination and open the zip drive that you just downloaded. Click the “Download” icon on the upper right corner of the selection drawer. Scroll down and look for the section “Download All Fonts”. Open the font folder, right-click on the font and choose “Install.”. Open the drawer at the bottom of the screen where your selection is saved. Now choose the ones that you like and add them to your collection by clicking the plus button on the upper right corner of each font. You’ll find a scrollable list of fonts with the live preview.
